Max Richter’s On the Nature of Daylight has become a modern icon following its use in movies and TV series such as Shutter Island, Arrival, and The Last of Us. Jessie Mongomery’s sparkling Rounds won a 2024 Grammy Award for the recording with our guest artist, Awadagin Pratt. Our opening night is capped by Tchaikovsky’s searing and melodic Fifth Symphony, a profoundly emotional work of passion and brilliance.
